today in class we went over the notes that we took for the cyber day from last monday. the notes covered Greece and all of the surrounding areas. it also included the ocean and how they used it

cyber day: plato

plato was a philosopher and a mathematician in classical Greece. he was considered an essential figure in the development of philosophy as he founded the academy in Athens which was the first higher institution of learning in the western world. plato, along with socrates and Aristotle, laid the foundations of western philosophy and science. plato's family became one of the most wealthy in Athens.  most modern scholars believe he was born between 429-423 BC and it is believed that plato died at the age of 81 (very old back then).

today in class we went over our tests and took notes on Greece. it is surrounded by water (mediteranian sea) which made for easy trading.

·      Greece is by the water so they can get food from their

·      They can trade products to surrounding countries using boats

·      Athens and Greece probably traded a lot being close to the sea

Summary’s on videos

John green video-

John greens video was a long informative video about all of Egyptian life. I found that everything I needed to know was In the john green video. He talked about Egypt from the beginning of Egyptian life to the end and didn’t leave out much. How ever im not a big fan of his and find him rather annoying

Mummy video-

This video was short and to the point. It was an informative vide about how mummys were made. If your just looking for a video on how mummys were made and nothing else than this is the best video out there for that.

Pyramid video-

This video was mostly about how pyramids were made, who made them, and what was inside. I found It useful and helpful and easy to understand. This video was very helpful to me. I found that the john green video covered all of this in one long video. That’s why I found his the most useful

today in class we played this sick "game" where we had to try to build a pyramid as the Egyptians would have.

today in class we met for the first time this semester and learned how to create our blogs.  things weren't working in class so we had to make it at home. in order to make our blogs we had to make a google account in order to make a blog.
